Reason why Kanor will not be able to "BAYO" our country this year

Kanor will never hit the Philippines, here is why --

Kanor was quietly removed from the list of tropical cyclone names for it may do more harm than good.

On a post from PAGASA's social media, they cited that it may distract the public instead of prompting them to prepare from the upcoming disaster.

PAGASA Forecaster said in an interview that it may not be good to have a news head line like "Pilipinas, Binabayo ni kanor"

He said that the Cyclone name might make people take the Tropical Cyclone lightly. "Mang kanor"  is notorious as the eponymous star of a series of local sex videos.

So baka imbes na mag-prepare tayo sa disaster, baka maging focus pa (ang pangalan) sa social media," -Fernando Cada said in an interview on DzBB

Here is an example reaction from Filipinos that lead to the name drop

If you think of it, we may never take the typhoon seriously with the possible headlines that will come out.

Here are the possible headlines if "Kanor" will still be the name of the Typhoon.

For those who don't know, "Kanor" is the name of an old man in the famous series of sex scandals involving a very young teenage girl.
