Obama: I'm not offended. The Philippines should not take Duterte's words literally. The man is simply a genius.

We all know Duterte as a man of metaphors. His words has baffled international personalities due to its sheer complexity and bizarre diction.

After Duterte said to an interviewer that he would call Obama a "sun of a beach" if ever US President Barrack Obama questions Duterte on Extra Judicial Killings in the country, another headline made it to the international media when President Rodrigo Duterte said to Obama "GO TO HELL"

But Obama is like "No big deal"

Obama said in an interview that he has finally understand Duterte's character. Telling international media that his words has always deeper sense than how they actually perceived.

"The man is simply a genius."

"His 16 million followers know that. And to question that much power isn't something somebody should do"

"These people have always been able to comprehend the true meaning of Duterte's word. Like his word to the Pope, and his initial words towards me."

"I think the literary meaning behind the words "Got to hell" is that my country should go to the deepest or the core of our problems so that I could understand the situation in the Philippines."

"The man is simply a genius."

  1. Obama understands the underdog and is trying to see the world view of Duterte. But Duterte is no genius. He is just a man who has street habits and does not have the subtlety or ability to adjust to different environments.

Duterte has demonstrated an inability to grow into his new responsibilities. This is not genius.

I hope he learns how to say "Fuck you" in Mandarin and Russian. That would be true genius,

I have long supported Obama but he has got this one wrong. Duterteis a bully boy who is getting alot of poor people killed in his war on drugs. "Carboard Justice" for the poor but impunity for the 1000 mayors and bgy chairmen on his list. They are not being called in or killed.

So he kills the poor and lets the rich go free. I call this bull shit not genious.

    5. Mr. Robert La Quey, I resent your statement about Pres Duterte's "inability to grow into his new responsibilities"! Good leaders don't "grow" into responsibilities....they assume...good or bad...responsibilities and make decisions and tackle them the best they know how, and they hold themselves accountable! I don't know what planet you came from, but Pres. Duterte has never complained nor criticized the previous administration's failure to recognized the major concerns that Pres Duterte inherited...to say the least!

And I vehemently resent your comments about him killing the poor and lets the rich go...if you are judging him without factual information, well, that's what jerks and morons say, and you are that! Fuck off, moron!

  2. DUTERTE HAS THE BALLS AND IS A GENIUS. HE IS GETTING DONE WHAT OTHERS CANT, OR DON'T WANT DONE BECAUSE THEY BENEFIT FROM THE DRUG TRADE. I BEEN THERE AND I PERSONALLY SAW PEOPLE TURNING THEMSELVES INTO THE AUTHORITIES. AND AGREE TO GO TO DRUG TREATMENT, OTHERS JUST LEFT THE COUNTRY. THAT IS A TRUE ZERO TOLERANCE
