Duterte Has Signed An Executive Order Banning All Pornography Before December – Fines & Jail Time For Repeat Offenders

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – President Rodrigo Duterte has signed an executive order that prohibits possession of any pornographic materials, that being a magazine or viewing pornographic material online, will face harsh fines and even jail time for repeat offenders.

The draft was finalized by the Presidential Legal Counsel on Thursday night.

According to the president, "With respect to the holiness of the lord, Christ, I want to celebrate the first Christmas of my administration by cleansing the county with its sins."

"Pornography has been damaging the children and has been crippling our morals through the years, especially with the capability of our modern technology. Even an eight year old can search Leila Delima's video on the internet within a few minutes."

"I want to assure the good citizens of the Philippines that the brave men and women of law enforcement will be out in full force, tracking down porn offenders, and bringing them to justice,”

First time offenders will be fined for 5,000 pesos. Repeat offenses might mean a fine of 50,000 and 1-2 years jail time.

  7. its not only pornography that poisons the mind of the children nowadays but they also need to look at what the fuck television offers. instead of shaping the minds of something that can help them to have a brighter future, they corrupt and pollute their innocence with those fucking telenovelas. fucking crappy series educating young ones on how to bitch and be fucked at young age that is why pregnancy with teens are so rampant.

  8. Law enforcement cannot even assist rape victims or put child molesting priests into prison. Yet somehow the police will be out in full force to find that one 14 year old masturbating in his CR. Come on. Just put a block on it like they do in middle eastern countries where you cannot access without a VPN. A VPN won't be detectable anyway.

They should block the porn going through the isp and impose jail time and fines on Philippine originated porn or porn hosting. The DVD and magazine bit is fine but still... this infringes on the rights of the people by imposing the Catholic/Christian faith onto people.

Just my humble opinion having lived there for over 6 years.

    1. The law doesn't impose any kind of religious faith on someone. It's just blocking something that is harmful to a person, family or community.

  18. As much as I would've wanted this to happen, or probably most people would've wanted it to be true, I can hardly believe or be serious about this stuff because this site has quite a "catchy" catchphrase.

  21. Majority of matured filipinos perceive pornography as entertainment, it`s a lucrative and prolific business. Legalized in liberated countries like the U.S. and it was brought here in 1946 as imported magazines. We have existing laws but these are regulatory and not for total ban.
